Heather is returning to open PioneerCare Center’s hair salon to residents next Thursday, June 18. PioneerCare has consulted with Minnesota Department of Health on guidance for this reopening and coordinated with Heather to meet requirements to open safely.
Since perms and other services take more time, and because of physical distancing limitations, Heather will first concentrate on serving as many residents as possible. This will catch everyone up with haircuts. Those who need both a cut, set, or perm will get a haircut first and wait for more time-consuming services until everyone has received needed haircuts.
The care center’s salon will be open to residents only, Wednesdays through Fridays, with Heather’s first day back next Thursday. Staff on each household are compiling a list of residents who need salon services. Families should call Jessica at 218-998-1500 if they have specific requests for their loved one to receive services.
With current restrictions in place, residents are not able to leave the care center for salon appointments, so this service now opening is especially valuable to have on site.
