Pioneer ShortStay nursing staff placed room numbers on windows to help families locate their loved one without being accused of window peeping 👀 …If you call ahead, we can help by making sure your loved one knows you’re coming. We want to help as best we can to keep you connected during this time.
Donated Masks Are Coming
Word is out and volunteers are sewing masks for residents and staff of PioneerCare. Some have already delivered and we’re shooting for another 300 as soon as possible. The effort is greatly appreciated and we will put them to use at PioneerCare Center, Pioneer Cottages, and Pioneer Pointe. Here’s a link to sewing instructions.
There has been a lot of confusion and conflicting information about masks and other personal protection. Here’s the accepted position on masks, put simply:
A home-sewn mask may protect others from you;
A N95 mask, considered PPE, may protect you from others.
