PioneerLink® PERS

Assistance at the Touch of a Button

PioneerLink® offers the Personal Emergency Response System (PERS), providing enhanced independence and peace of mind by opening 24-hour access to medical and personal assistance.

Two Available Systems:

Standard (Landline-Based) PERS: The home console is connected to existing standard phone line. Subscribers need to have existing phone service at home for the Standard PERS to operate. The system comes with a standard wireless activator pendant. An iVi pendant featuring automatic fall detection is optional**.

CEL (Cellular-Based) PERS: Operates on cellular network, eliminating the need for a landline*. Cellular service is included in the subscriber’s monthly rate.  The CEL comes with a standard wireless activator pendant. An iVi pendant featuring automatic fall detection is optional**.

A simple touch of a button on the activator pendant or home console accesses immediate voice-to-voice communication with PioneerLink’s response center. PioneerLink staff work with the user and/or caregiver to develop a custom response plan at the time of installation. The response plan enables PioneerLink response center staff to contact the appropriate responder for every condition: a family member, neighbor, home care provider or local emergency personnel.

*The CEL requires a satisfactory GSM cellular network connection to operate as intended. Coverage may not be available in all areas and may change after system activation due to environmental conditions.
**Fall detection feature does not detect 100% of falls. If able, users should always press their help button when they need help.
